Warsaw Man Arrested For Domestic Battery

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested for allegedly battering a person.
Nathaniel Allen Carlson, 35, 106 Senior Court, Warsaw, is charged with domestic battery committed in the presence of a child, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On July 25, Warsaw Police officers responded to a battery at a residence. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Carlson.
According to court documents, Carlson said a man was arguing with his parents when Carlson grabbed the man’s neck and pinned him against a wall. Two children were present in the home during the incident.
The man said he went to the residence to pick up the two children when he had a verbal argument with two men at the home, including Carlson. He said Carlson grabbed him by the throat and pinned him against a door.
One of the men at the home said he saw Carlson grab the victim. He told officers he pulled the victim and Carlson apart immediately.
Carlson has already been arrested and released on his own recognizance.
