Warsaw High School Cross Country Holding Alumni Race, Fundraiser On Aug. 2

WARSAW — Warsaw Community High School Boys’ Cross Country team will be hosting a 3K alumni race and dinner fundraiser at the WCHS Cross Country Course, located by the baseball field, on Friday, Aug. 2.
The race is open to the community, future Tigers, current Tigers and alumni, offering a chance for everyone to connect and compete. Proceeds support the Warsaw Boys’ Cross Country program.
Coach Matt Campbell said, “We are excited to announce the upcoming alumni race. This event offers a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, reminisce and celebrate our shared history. Our goal is to foster a strong sense of community and create lasting memories. We look forward to seeing everyone at the starting line and making this race a remarkable success together.”
The cross country team is expecting at least 75 runners to compete. Currently, 17 alumni have already signed up.
Check-in begins at 6 p.m. The race is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner will immediately follow the race at the cross country course.
Games such as corn hole and nine square will be available.
Register using the link provided. Race entry includes a dinner ticket. Additional tickets for dinner are $15/adult. Registration is not required. Children ages seven and under are free.
