Richard Murvel “Jerry” Garner, 92, formerly of Wabash County, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Marion General Hospital.

He was born Dec. 22, 1931. His wife, Barbara Garner, Wabash, survives.

He also is survived by three children, Claudia Givens, Wabash, Tim (Susan) Garner, Cicero, and Chris (Kelly) Garner, Indianapolis; son-in-law, Don Wolfe, Zephyrhills, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother, Don (Janet) Garner, Marion; and his sister-in-law, Trecy Garner, Kokomo.

Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, is handling arrangements.
