WARSAW — Part of A1 Landscape’s profit helps those in need in the Dominican Republic.
“Twenty percent of our profit goes to the Dominican Republic, (helping pay for) kids to go to high school,” said Owner Colt Van Houten.
The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon-cutting for the Warsaw-based business on Monday, July 15.
Van Houten has had it for “a little over a year.”
“We do project-based work, so it would be patios, planting, just install work,” he said.
Van Houten has three employees. He noted the name A1 Landscape stands for “the best of the best.”
“We’re really passionate about our work. We take pride in our work, and we don’t leave until the customer’s 100 percent satisfied with the job,” he said.
