WARSAW — Kosciusko’s Got Talent, Kiddie Pedal Pull and drag racing were on tap Thursday evening at the Kosciusko County Community Fair.
Brandon Bussard and Melanie Hartzler were chosen as the top performers in the Kosciusko’s Got Talent competition. The duo presented a drum performance.
Coming in second was Audrey and Darby Fitzsimmons with their duet of “The House That Built Me.” Third place went to Allie Jo Leininger who sand “Jesus Loves Me.” A new award this year, Queen’s choice, went to Kevin Linehan and his impression of Rodney Dangerfield.
While the talent competition was going on in the Event Tent, across the fairgrounds in front of the Shrine Building, youngsters of various ages waited for their turn to participate in the Pedal Pull.
There was also plenty of activity going on at Echoes of the Past where ham and beans, homemade ice cream (vanilla and butterscotch), and kettle corn was available. Kids enjoyed a ride in the tractor pulled barrel train and a few took advantage of a tractor driving experience. The swings in the gazebo were filled with fairgoers just relaxing.
The midway was full of all ages waiting to go on the numerous rides, with several of the popular rides having long lines.
In the grandstand, people gathered in the stands and on the grass to watch the KOI Drag Racing with trucks, motorcycles and ATVs.
