Creighton’s Painting Accepted Into Hoosier Art Salon’s 100th Exhibition

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Local artist Steve Creighton’s painting, “Still Life with English Roses,” has been accepted into the Hoosier Art Salon’s 100th Annual Exhibition. The exhibition will be held in the Richard E. Ford Gallery at the Indiana State Museum, 650 W. Washington St., Indianapolis.
The Exhibition will be displayed to the public from Aug. 23 through Oct. 20 in the gallery, which is one of the Indiana State Museum’s premiere exhibition spaces. The awards and preview event will be held from 6-10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22.
Nearly 700 entries were submitted by 264 artists. The accepted entries will be judged for awards by award-winning professional artists Stefani Wagner and Qiang Huang.
Creighton has achieved “signature” status for Oil Painters of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society and Hoosier Salon. He enjoys the challenges of national and international competitions, and his paintings have been exhibited throughout the country. His studio is located in Warsaw.
