Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, East Wooster Road, east of South CR 325E, Pierceton. Driver: Mariah N. Hunter, 24, East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Hunter’s vehicle hit a deer. She was taken to the hospital as she’s pregnant. Damage up to $10,000.
• 1:43 a.m. Saturday, July 6, South SR 15, at the intersection of West CR 550S, Claypool. Driver: Diego A. Munoz, 18, South Market Street, North Manchester. Police believe Munoz incorrectly navigated a turn, causing him to hit a ditch and his vehicle to roll multiple times. He had severe head bleeding and was flown to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Damage up to $50,000.
• 5:36 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 852 S. SR 13, Pierceton. Driver: William D. Bendorf, 19, East Evergreen Drive, Warsaw. Bendorf backed into a parked vehicle while he was backing up. Damage up to $5,000.
