Bob Cooper
Robert Dean Cooper, 66, of Tippecanoe, passed at 4:15 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2024, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of Mishawaka after a brief illness.
Bob was born on Nov. 20, 1957, in Rochester, the son of the late Virgil L. and Carol Jean Cooper. He graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1976. On Aug. 26, 2017, he married Amy Lewis at the Broken Arrow Campground, and she survives him. Bob worked as an operations manager at Black Gold Farms in Winamac. His passions included camping and playing corn hole.
He is survived by his wife, Amy, of Tippecanoe; children, Drew Cooper, of Warsaw, Dustin Cooper, of Akron, Brody Cooper, of Mentone, Logan Cooper, of Celina, Ohio, Cody Ply, of Texas, AJ Noel, of Columbia City, and Hannah Noel, of Tippecanoe; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; siblings, Virgil and wife Cynthia Cooper, of Foley, Ala., Rick Cooper, of Goshen, and Tammy Cooper, of Foley, Ala.; and mother-in-law, Beverly Lewis and Max, of Rochester.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Timmy Cooper; and father-in-law, Terry Lewis.
The funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, July 15, at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor AJ Noel officiating.
The interment will take place in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
Visitation hour will be held on Monday starting at 10 a.m. Monday, July 15, until the time of the service at the funeral home.
