Ricky Lee Ellis, 74, Nappanee, died at 8:20 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2024, at home.

He was born Dec. 6, 1949, in Bremen. On June 15, 2024, he married Theresa Borkholder, who survives.

He also is survived by his children, Amy Ellis, of Nappanee, Kayla Ellis, of Nappanee, Rick (Naudia) Frye, of New Paris, Jeremy (Allison) Frye, of Goshen, Casey (Justin) Lantze, of Goshen, and Vanessa Borkholder, of Middlebury; eight grandchildren; and three siblings, Tereasa (Jim) Hartley, of Walkerton, Debra (Jim) Ryman, of Nappanee, and Annette Ellis, of Milford.
