WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Health Department has notified the city of Warsaw Parks Department that tests for E. coli have come back at unsafe levels, and its recommendation is that Center Lake beach be closed immediately.

Samples have been drawn again, and test results will be available Thursday,
July 4.

If levels are safe for the public, the beach will be reopened. However, if levels remain high, Center Lake beach will remain closed until further notice. As updates are available, they will be posted to the city of Warsaw Parks Department Facebook page.
