Jon R. Pontzius, 84, Columbia City, died at 11:26 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at Parkview Whitley Hospital.

He was born June 9, 1939.

He is survived by his brother, Roy (Alice) Pontzius; sister, Ruth Ann Husak; six nieces; and six nephews.
