Charles “Derick” Sanders, 35, Claypool, died in a motorcycle accident Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

He was born May 7, 1989. On Jan. 27, 2021, he married Karen G. Prater, who survives.

He also is survived by his mother, Teresa Cantrell, Argos; his siblings, Santanna (Steven) Shook, Rochester, Samantha (Spencer) Wilson, Bremen, and Brianna Sanders, Nappanee; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Davey Prater, Warsaw, Terry Prater, Claypool, and Lori (Floyd) Cissom, Warsaw; mother- and father-in-law, Brenda and Marcus Prater, Claypool; his aunts, Kimberly Sanders, Vilonia, Ark., and Kimberly Dickson, Plymouth; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
