George Delano Swihart, 89, died Thursday, June 6, 2024, in Marion.

He was born Nov. 14, 1934. In November 1978, he married Billie Johnson, who preceded him in death in 2019.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Marty) Click, Peru; son, Ronald E., Mexico; stepdaughter, Dixie Frenoy; stepsons, Rex Shepherd and Jimmie Johnson; two granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; his first wife, Lois Swihart; his sisters, Janet Strevey, Wabash, Joyce (Jerry) Hudson, Akron, and Karen Aikman, Fort Wayne; and friend, Judy Kuhn, Rochester.

Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, is handling arrangements.
