Curtis Paul Ranes, 92, South Whitley, died peacefully in the company of family at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at his home.

He was born on Oct. 4, 1931.

Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Ranes, Reno, Nev.; stepchildren Becky Haisley, North Manchester, David Haisley, Orland, Julie Anderson, South Whitley, and Andrew Haisley, Columbia City; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Smith & Sons Funeral Homes is handling arrangements.
