Evelyn S. McDonald, 85, died Saturday, May 18, 2024.

She was born Aug. 28, 1938. On May 26, 1962, she married Charles McDonald, who preceded her in death in 2019.

She is survived by her daughters, Fran Short, Muncie, Beth (John) Hummel, Sulphur Springs, and Mary (Kenny) Robertson, Middletown; seven grandchildren; her brother, Chris (Dianne) Pearson, North Manchester; many nieces and nephews; and friends and neighbors.

Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, is handling arrangements.
