William B. Souder Jr.

William B. Souder Jr., age 83, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, May17, 2024, at The Waters of Syracuse in Syracuse. William was born on Jan. 14, 1941, in Kokomo, to William B. and Emma (Snyder) Souder.

William is survived by his sister, Karen English, of Sun City, Fla.; niece, Elizabeth Lindsay, of Valrico, Fla.; nephews, Richard Burton, of Kenosha, Wis., Mike (Heidi) Souder, of St. Petersburg, Fla., John (Katy) Burton, of Brandon, Fla., and Charlie (Maureen) Berfield, of Keyport, N.J. He was preceded in death by his parents.

William worked in agricultural sales for years. He served in the U.S. Army for six years and received commendations for sharpshooting in pistol and rifle. William was an avid golfer and was a very generous man who donated to many charitable organizations.

A graveside service will be held in William’s honor at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Oak Park Cemetery, Lincolnway South, Ligonier.
