Karl “Sonny” Emmons, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Signature HealthCARE in Bremen.

Sonny was born on March 5, 1933. He married Betty Mae Pugh before her passing in 1969, later marrying MaryAnne Roberts on Dec. 3, 1971, sharing 48 years of marriage before her passing in 2019.

Survivors include his children, Jerri (Kenny) Shirley, Lakeville, Debra (Don) Vance, South Bend, Terri (Sonny) Cripe, Koontz Lake, Sherri (Joe) Kibbe, Culver, and Robin (Tamra) Roberts, Greenbrier, Tenn.;14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Judy Veger, Plymouth.
