Ruth Ann Funk, 92, rural Akron, died at 8:13 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born Jan. 31, 1932. On Sept. 9, 1950, she married Walter D. Funk, who preceded her in death in 2003.

She is survived by three sons, Gary (Nila) Funk, Greenville, Tenn., Donald (Wanda) Funk, Grovetown, Ga., and Robert (Tammie) Funk, Akron; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
