Scott Allen Porter, 65, Columbia City, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at home.

He was born July 27, 1958. His wife, Kristine Leigh “Kristi” (Dittmer) Porter, whom he married April 25, 1998, survives.

He also is survived by his sons, Chad (Nichole) Porter and Kyle Porter; daughter, Kassidy Porter; two grandchildren; father, Chuck Porter; brothers, Tim Porter and Todd (Denise) Porter; sisters Marsha Bartrom and Kimberly (Jim) Morrow; numerous nieces and nephews; in-laws, Raymond and Laura Dittmer; sisters-in-law, Jill (Shawn) Lickey and Lisa (Peter) Rouch; and close family member, Christine Mossburg.

DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, Columbia City, is handling arrangements.
