Michael L. Martin, 74, Rochester, died at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

He was born May 23, 1949. His wife, Cindy (Jones) Martin, whom he married June 6, 2009, survives.

He also is survived by his children, Michael (Rena) Martin, Cleveland, Layla Martin, Plymouth, Tabitha Martin, Plymouth, and Kaley (Jeremy) Stump, Nappanee; stepchildren, Morgan (Hayden) Correll, Nappanee, Amber (Rick) Wilburn, Rochester, and Aaron Pesak, Rochester; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, David C. Martin, Pennington Gap, Va., Carolyn Strolle, Naples, Fla., Truman “Frank” (Cher) Martin, Wisconsin, H. Daniel (Deb) Martin, Plymouth, Rita Lemon, Washington, Ind., Martha C. LaValle, Plymouth, Karen Lieliert, Warsaw, Melvin Martin, Virginia, and Greta Martin, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
