Margaret Vandal

Margaret Vandal, 83, of Syracuse, passed away on May 9, 2024, at Kosciusko Lutheran Hospital.

She was born Sept. 18, 1940, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Margaret was a bookkeeper and office manager for many years, as well as a homemaker. She was a longtime member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Syracuse.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Tami) Vandal, of Syracuse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Robert Vandal, in 2001, along with three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, May 13, at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Syracuse. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wawasee Kiwanis Club.
