Benjamin “Ben” Jacob Albright
Benjamin “Ben” Jacob Albright, of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his residence at the age of 45.
He was born on Aug. 13, 1978, in Goshen. Ben was one of five children born to Janie (Brown) and Phil Albright. He was a 1997 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and studied Art at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Ben was an avid athlete in swimming, football, basketball and baseball from elementary through high school. He also had a quick wit about him and loved to challenge his family to any kind of game, be it Monopoly, Boggle or Jeopardy. He amazed and stumped everyone with his knowledge!
An accomplished musician of any instrument, one of Ben’s passions in life was writing and performing music while collaborating with others. He was a creative soul, both with music and art, but he was especially talented in the culinary arts. He could whip up a gourmet meal with whatever was on hand, and you felt like you were dining at a five-star restaurant.
Ben worked for many years as a waiter, but in recent years he developed a passion for crypto currency and trading in the market. He devoted much of his free time to the beloved family dog, Dexter, playing fetch in the backyard. Ben was loved by anyone that had a chance to meet him and he will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most.
He is survived by his parents, Phil and Janie Albright, Warsaw; four siblings, Jeff (Missy) Albright, Warsaw, Jerry (Nikole) Albright, Avilla, Joni (Curt) Moore, Warsaw and Mike (Katy) Albright, Elgin, Ill..
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved and adored him, Eric, Malorie, Emily, Natalie, Reagan, Kennedy, Archie, Sam, Maizie and Jonah. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edith and Roy Brown, Phil and Madeline Albright; as well as his nephew, Reed Albright.
