David K. Dunham — UPDATED
David Kirk Dunham, of Winona Lake, lost his battle with cancer and passed away at 4:04 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, at the age of 70.
He was born on July 17, 1953, in Hagerstown, Md., to Nancy Lee (Hankey) and Millard Arnold Dunham. He graduated from Florida Air Academy in Melbourne, Fla., and afterward earned his associate degree from a military college in Vermont.
David worked in the bakery business and did several different jobs but mainly he delivered baked goods. He was always a friendly guy and enjoyed many things throughout his life. David attended Warsaw Community Church and enjoyed volunteering his time to mow the church grounds. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He leaves behind his sister, Donna (Ron) Stroud, Ormond Beach, Fla., and his brother, Scott Dunham, Elgin, S.C. He was preceded in death by his parents.
David’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service to be announced at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
