Erwin L. Detwiler, 95, Fort Wayne, a native of Goshen, died at 1:30 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.

He was born April 13, 1929. On July 8, 1956, he married Shirley Claire Whittle, who preceded him in death in 2012.

He is survived by four children, Michael (Linda) Hamlin, Churubusco, Gail (Ron) Bussard, Wabash, T. Scott (Cheryl) Hamlin, Columbia City, and Stacy (Kevin) Geesaman, Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
