Goshen Salvation Army Readies For 13-Hour Pancake Day Fundraiser

GOSHEN — The Salvation Army’s annual Pancake Day event Friday, April 26, will raise funds to support programs and services provided to the community throughout the year.
Advanced tickets are available online for $7, or tickets can be purchased at the door for $8. Tickets can be purchased at salarmy.us/pancakeday.
The 61st Annual Pancake Day is a long-standing tradition in the Goshen community. Proceeds from the event support adult, youth and family programs at The Salvation Army throughout the year, including a popular seniors program, a food pantry and emergency financial assistance for struggling households.
Pancakes will be griddled and served from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. Diners are welcome to come anytime during the 13-hour fundraiser to redeem their tickets and enjoy a hot meal with other members of the community.
The Salvation Army is located at 1013 N. Main St. in Goshen. Parking in on-site and the facility is handicapped-accessible.
The Salvation Army has been a part of the Goshen community for 135 years, supporting those in need and welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds. Pancake Day has become a vital fundraiser to help The Salvation Army continue to serve every person who walks through its door. In 2023, The Salvation Army provide 27,486 meals to local residents facing food insecurity and provided basic social services programs, including emergency rent and utility assistance, to 7,500 people.
