Warsaw Residents Invited To Tour Wastewater Utility Plant For Earth Day

WARSAW — The city of Warsaw is inviting residents to mark Earth Day with a “journey down the drain” at the city’s wastewater utility plant.
Come learn about the science at work at the plant, take a tour and enjoy drinks, snacks, vendor displays and items for children. Also, the first 200 residents will receive a free redbud tree to take home.
Warsaw Mayor Jeff Grose will be on hand at 2 p.m. for a meet-and-greet with residents.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday, April 22, at the Warsaw Wastewater Department, 2056 N. 150W, Warsaw, behind G&G Hauling.
