SILVER LAKE — Multiple fire departments responded to a report of a house fire east of Silver Lake on Monday afternoon.

Just after 12:15 p.m. Monday, April 15, emergency personnel responded to a fire at 11417 S. County Farm Road, Silver Lake.

Initial reports said the second floor of the home had visible flames. The fire was reported under control around 12:50 p.m.

Silver Lake Fire Department responded to the scene, with Sidney and Claypool Fire Departments also being called for full assists.

Assisting agencies include Parkview EMS, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, and the Silver Lake Police Department.

According to Kosciusko County Beacon GIS, the property is owned by Leonardo Zaca Nayotl and Sofia Meyo Carrillo.
