Van Buren Township Food Pantry Thanks Community For Support
News Release
INDIANA — “We would like to take this time to thank all of the individuals, children, school youth groups, businesses, Milford First Brethren Church and other churches in the surrounding area, local clubs and our local Milford Food Bank, who have taken time out of their busy schedules and given so generously to Van Buren Township Food Pantry,” Vickie Scarpellini, office manager for Van Buren Township Food Pantry, explained.
The Van Buren Township Food Pantry is housed within the Milford First Brethren Church, 110 W. Catherine St. The food pantry serves community members of Van Buren Township and residents that have a Milford address. The food pantry is open 2-5 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays.
The Van Buren Township Food Pantry is a not-for-profit organization and is entirely funded by donations from community members.
“Without these donations, the food pantry would not be here,” Scarpellini said. “The Van Buren Township Food Pantry is a very needed and necessary part of our community.”
The Van Buren Township Food Pantry is always accepting donations.
In a unprecedented time, filled with job lay-offs, company shutdowns, downsizing and gas and food price increases, the Van Buren Township Food Pantry is here to help its community.
