Pruitt Receives Three-Year Sentence After Using Knife In Domestic Incident

WARSAW — A Warsaw woman will serve a three-year sentence locally after using a knife to injure a man’s hand.
Eden Racquel Pruitt, 23, 4625 N. 100E, Warsaw, was charged with domestic battery with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony. Three additional criminal charges and three separate criminal cases were all dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Pruitt was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court Two on Wednesday, April 10.
For domestic battery with a deadly weapon, Pruitt received a three-year sentence at the Kosciusko County Jail. This sentence will be served back-to-back to two additional criminal misdemeanor cases Pruitt has.
Pruitt also has 61 days of jail time credit.
On April 23, 2023, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a report of Pruitt using a knife to injure a man’s hand.
Pruitt was previously convicted of battery against a public safety official in Kosciusko County in January 2022.
