Area Accident Reports
Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 3:11 a.m. Monday, April 8, 1197 W. 1350N, Milford. Driver: Joshua Borkholder, 44, North CR 700E, Nappanee. Borkholder’s vehicle left the roadway, hitting a mailbox and entering a yard. His vehicle rolled during the accident and came to a rest in a field west of the driveway at 1197 W. 1350N. Damage up to $25,000.
- 2:26 a.m. Saturday, April 6, South SR 15, at the intersection of West CR 300S, Warsaw. Driver: Jack D. Jennings, 54, Ringneck Trail, Warsaw. Jennings’ vehicle hit a cat. Damage up to $5,000.
- 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, East Rainbow Lane, at the intersection of East Crooked Mile Road, Cromwell. Drivers: Maria D. Saldivar-Trinidad, 54, McLean Street, Ligonier; and Ashlee S. McKinney, 28, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Saldivar-Trinidad’s vehicle went left of center, hitting McKinney’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Elkhart County
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
- 9:03 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, CR 46 and CR 3, Nappanee. Drivers: Anna Braden, 63, Nappanee; and Elizabeth Kraft, 61, Bremen. Braden’s vehicle disregarded a stop sign and collided with Kraft’s vehicle, causing both vehicles to leave the road. Braden was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for a report of lower arm pain and was cited for disregarding a stop sign and expired registration. Kraft was transported to Goshen Hospital for complaints of pain.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
- 6:39 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, South CR 600W and West SR 14, Rochester. Driver: Stacy M. Hart, 48, Kewanna. Hart’s vehicle hit a deer.
