Charles ‘Chuck’ Lynch
Charles “Chuck” Lynch, of Warsaw/Leesburg, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2024, at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester at the age of 59.
He was born on May 19, 1964, in Warsaw, to Rebecca Jean (Shue) Lynch and Terry Lee Lynch. Chuck was a proud 1984 graduate of Warsaw High School, where he played freshman football. He went on to work as a polisher at Zimmer in Warsaw and later he was everyone’s favorite in housekeeping and maintenance at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw for many years.
He loved racing four-wheelers, anything NASCAR, and very much enjoyed the many trips out to the RedBud MX Track at Buchanan, Mich. He enjoyed many hours working on model cars, collecting stock car models. Chuck could always be found in the garage tinkering on things and hanging out. He enjoyed hanging out at home and watching TV. Chuck loved fast food and, of course, he was known for his sweet tooth and could never resist trying out new desserts. Always wearing a smile on his face, he was a kindhearted man who dearly loved his family. Chuck was a great son, brother and uncle who will forever be loved and missed by all.
He leaves behind his father, Terry Lee Lynch, Leesburg; brother, Mike Lynch, Fishers; and two sisters, Angie Eherenman, Garner, N.C., and Jenny Lynch, Chicago. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Jean Lynch, on Feb. 15, 2012.
Chuck’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday, April 8, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Friends and family may visit an hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. A private graveside service will take place at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg.
Memorial donations may be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707-3392.
