Sarah H. “Sally” Hartzog, 92, rural North Manchester, died at 5:56 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2024, at Bickford Cottage, Wabash.

She was born on Aug. 31, 1931. She first married Dale T. Martin, the father of her children; he preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Lewis B. “Lew” Hartzog on Dec. 23, 1974; he died April 9, 2019.

Survivors include three children, Janette Bledsoe, Jacksonville, N.C., Tom (Rita) Martin, Houston, Texas, and Jean (Jim) Erickson, North Manchester; three stepdaughters, Georgeann (Dennis Connolly) Hartzog, Alto Pass, Ill., Gretchen Ehrlich, Winston-Salem, N.C., and Susan Alan, Raleigh, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and sister Rachel (Jack) Kelble, West Palm Beach, Fla.
