Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 3:52 p.m. Friday, March 15, South Union St. and W. Winona Ave., Warsaw. Driver: Edward J. Feipel, 61, Simcoe Court, Fort Wayne. Fiepel’s semitrailer hit a speed limit sign while turning. Damages up to $1,001.
- 3:20 p.m. Thursday, March 14, East Lake Drive and East Jefferson St., Warsaw. Drivers: Trinity A. Love, 19, S Wolfe Bridge Drive, Granger; and Makayla A. Roberts, 24, S. Oak Brook Plaza, Warsaw. Love’s vehicle struck the right side of Roberts’ vehicle in an intersection. Damages up to $5,000.
Elkhart County
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
- 8:49 a.m. March 18, US 6 and CR 123, New Paris. Drivers: Zackery Courson, 21, Larwill; and Adam Bailey, 47, Fayette, Ohio. Courson’s vehicle sideswiped Bailey’s semitrailer, then ran off the road into a field. Courson’s passenger Jaylyn Wright, no age listed, New Paris, was transported to Goshen Hospital for complaint of leg pain.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 7:46 a.m. Monday, March 18, East SR 110 and North CR 375E, Rochester. Driver: David A. Hefty, 66, Valparasio. Hefty’s vehicle hit a deer.
- 7:40 a.m. Sunday, March 17, East SR 114 and East SR 200S, Akron. Driver: Breanna S. Kidd, 25, Akron. Kidd’s vehicle hit a deer.
- 6:05 a.m. Sunday, March 17, South US 31 and South Wabash Road, Rochester. Driver: Courtnee A. Sloan, 28, Wabash. Sloan’s vehicle hit a raccoon.
- 1:16 p.m. Friday, March 15, East SR 14 and South CR 975E, Akron. Driver: Levi A. Brooks, 30, Silver Lake. Brook’s trailer came loose from his truck, flipped and went through a fence.
