Mary Kathryn “Kay” Howard, 89, Indianapolis, formerly of Marion, died at 10:05 a.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Community South Medical Center in Greenwood.

She was born Oct. 30, 1934. On March 14, 1953, she married Richard “Red” Howard, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by four sons, Dana (Patty) Howard, Rockville, Tom (Cindy) Howard, Martinsville, Pat (Cyndia) Howard, Tampa, Fla., and James Howard, Greenwood; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
