WARSAW — A North Manchester woman will serve three years on probation for possessing drugs.
Allie Michelle Green, 33, 12600 S. SR 13, North Manchester, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, a level 5 felony. Three additional criminal charges were all dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Green was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court on Monday, March 4.
For meth possession, Kosciusko Circuit Court Judge Michael Reed sentenced Green to three years in the Kosciusko County Jail, with the sentence’s entirety suspended on formal probation. The case will be served consecutively to a Wabash County drug possession case.
At sentencing, it was noted that Green had taken significant steps to work on her sobriety.
On Sept. 14, 2022, Claypool and Silver Lake Police officers responded to a drug overdose. Green told officers she gave the overdose victim two doses of Narcan. The next day, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Green’s home and found a bag containing a substance which tested positive for meth and fentanyl.
