Warsaw Schools Welcomes Class Of 2037 With Kindergarten Kick-Off Event

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools will host its annual kindergarten kick-off event for the upcoming 2024-25 school year at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 26.
The event will take place at all elementary schools within the WCS district. Staff encourage families to arrive at their home school by 5:45 p.m. to participate in this informative and welcoming session.
WCS’ kindergarten kick-off event is dedicated to the Class of 2037 and their families, providing them with essential information about the exciting journey that lies ahead in kindergarten.
The special evening will cover key topics such as the registration process, immunization requirements, school safety protocols, before and after school care options and an introduction to innovative programs including STEM, Leader in Me and Dual Language Immersion.
All families of incoming kindergarteners, who must be five years old on or before Aug. 1, 2024, can attend the event. For any questions or further information, contact any of the school offices.
Registration for all K-12 families will be available immediately following the event online. Additionally, families interested in the DLI program must complete pre-registration and registration by May 31 to participate in the DLI lottery, which is tentatively scheduled for June 10.
