SOUTH WHITLEY — Whitko High School has announced its 2024 valedictorian and salutatorian.

Ethan Matthew Huber takes the first distinction.

He’s the son of Jack and Tina Huber and plans to attend Grace College to study premed.

While in high school, he’s been involved in band, academic team, Peacekeepers, National Honor Society, Sources of Strength and the Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy.

Reid Alan Deneve is the salutatorian.

The son of Tim and Emily Deneve, he plans to attend Trine University to study exercise science/pre-physical therapy. Reid has participated in the National Honor Society, Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy, Students Against Destructive Decisions, student council, band, tennis and archery while in high school.
