UPDATE: Warsaw Man Dead After Two-Vehicle Accident North Of Palestine

PALESTINE — A Warsaw man is dead after a two-vehicle accident north of Palestine.
At approximately 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 1, Kosciusko County emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of CR 200S and CR 550W in reference to a personal injury crash.
When Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived, it was determined a 2006 Hummer H2 was northbound on CR 550W and collided in the intersection with a 2010 Toyota Tacoma traveling westbound on CR 200S.
According to a KCSO report, Michael Kolesiak, 56, Akron, was traveling in the H2 and collided with the Tacoma after he failed to yield the right of way.
The Tacoma was driven by Kevin Harris, 34, Warsaw. Harris sustained fatal injuries from the collision and was pronounced deceased by Kosciusko County Coroner Tyler Huffer at the scene. The crash investigation was turned over to the Kosciusko County Fatal Team.
The KCSO was assisted at the scene by Burket Fire Department, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, Four-Way Ambulance Services, Samaritan Air Ambulance and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.
