PALESTINE — One person is dead after a two-vehicle accident north of Palestine on Friday morning.

Around 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 1, Mentone Fire Department, Burket Fire Department, and Lutheran EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of CR 200S and CR 550W, north of Palestine.

One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene. Samaritan Parkview flew the second driver to a hospital.

Assisting agencies include the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Four-Way Ambulance Services, Mentone Police and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.
