Mary E. Swartzell, 84, Winamac, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

She was born July 9, 1939. On July 5, 1958, she married Donald R. Swartzell, who preceded her in death in 2012.

She is survived by her children, Steven (Bonnie) Swartzell, Monterey, Constance (Kevin) Roe, Winamac, James (Cletha) Swartzell, Winamac, and Donna (Dale) Lindstrom, Winamac; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Nicolas, Indianapolis, and Steve (Linda) Nicolas, Winamac; and several nieces and nephews.

Frain Mortuary, Winamac, is handling arrangements.
