David Ross Johnstone, 81, Wabash, died at 12:42 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, at home.

He was born Aug. 4, 1942. On Dec. 26, 1972, he married Frances A. Cooper, who survives.

He also is survived by two stepsons, Bruce Gross, Wabash, and Keith Gross, Gas City; and two grandchildren.
