Rosalie Ann Carter, known to most as Rose, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation in Warsaw. She was born on June 29, 1940, in Warsaw, to Wilmur and Virginia May (Keener) Snyder. Rose leaves behind a loving family and a church community deeply impacted by her kindness and dedication.
Rose’s life was especially dedicated to her loved ones. From nurturing her growing family to hosting all of them for simple gatherings and holidays, Rose was certain to show each one love and support.
She was hardworking and truly enjoyed assisting customers in the sporting goods department at Warsaw Walmart later in life. Beyond her professional endeavors, Rose found joy in various hobbies and interests. She had a passion for crafting and fun moments playing bingo.
Rose is remembered for her steadfast faith in Christ and service as a missionary on the Navajo reservations in Arizona alongside her husband, Harry. Their dedication to helping others reflected their generous spirit and strong Christian values.
Those who survive with broken hearts include three children, Tim Carter, Brian Carter and Ric (Deb) Carter, all of Warsaw; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Rose is preceded in passing by her parents, Wilmur and Virginia Snyder; daughter, Christina Carter; and two siblings.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw is entrusted with the care of Rose and the Carter family. Visitors may gather at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Feb. 21; beginning at noon, Pastor Bob Brown will officiate Rose’s Life Celebration. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
