Rosie Lee Prater, 97, Akron, died at 6:13 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, at home.

She was born March 30, 1926. She married Berrell C. Marshall, who preceded her in death in 1942. She later married Burl Prater, who preceded her in death in 1985.

She is survived by her nieces, Connie Fairchild, North Judson, and Stella Day, Fort Wayne; nephews, Gene “Jerry” Manns, Silver Lake, Danny Slone, Wabash, and Wiley Bailey; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, is handling arrangements.
