Staff Report

Kim Allen Jacquay Jr.
WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested for allegedly using a device to circumvent a urine drug screen at the Kosciusko County Probation Department.
Kim Allen Jacquay Jr., 44, 3391 W. John Road, Warsaw, is charged with obstruction of justice, a level 6 felony; and interfering with a drug screen test, a class B misdemeanor.
On Jan. 22, Jacquay reported to the Kosciusko County Probation Department for an appointment with his probation officer. During the appointment, Jacquay was asked to submit to a urine drug screen.
According to court documents, when Jacquay presented a probation officer with his urine sample, the officer noticed the sample had no temperature and was flat in texture. The officer believed Jacquay had tampered with the drug screen.
When asked if he tampered with the specimen, Jacquay denied doing so. However, the officer found a “Whizzinator,” a device used to circumvent a urine drug screen by enabling the user to substitute someone else’s urine, strapped around Jacquay’s waist.
At the time of this incident, Jacquay was on formal probation for methamphetamine possession in Kosciusko County. His probation was scheduled to end in March 2025.
Jacquay was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Feb. 7, with a $5,500 surety and cash bond.
