Ray Piper, 96, formerly of Winona Lake, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at his home in Sarasota, Fla.

He was born May 5, 1927. On Dec. 14, 1946, he married Rosemary Spangle, who survives.

He also is survived by his children, Deborah (Dennis) Alvater, Rodney Piper, Kimra Olde, Pamela (Roger) Piper-Ruth, Laura (Richard) Kingsley, Ryan (Diane) Piper and Reid Piper; 26 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, is handling arrangements.
