Warsaw’s Pathway Church Hosting Blood Drive On Thursday
Press Release
WARSAW — Pathway Church in Warsaw has partnered with Versiti Blood Center of Indiana, the state’s largest blood donation organization, to host a blood drive from 1:30-6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8.
Walk-ins are welcome, but donors can sign up for appointment times online or via the QR code below.
Pathway Church and Versiti hosted their first blood drive six weeks ago, collecting eight units which can be used to save up to 24 Hoosiers’ lives. Pathway and Versiti would like to increase that number by inviting the community to the church, located at 2402 W. Old Road 30, during the previously mentioned time frame.
Donors are asked to use the west parking lot and enter through Door 6 of the church.
Blood donations are in extremely high demand in Indiana, with all blood type supplies in critical need. Donations are very easy and the whole process takes only about one hour from the moment donors walk through the door. Donors will need to have a photo ID with them and are encouraged to eat well and hydrate prior to donations. Juice and snacks are provided for donors after they give blood.
