Patricia Ann “Pat” Hagg, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, surrounded by her family at Paddock Springs in Warsaw.
Pat was the daughter of Harold and Olga (Longenecker) Tusing. She was born on Jan. 5, 1936, at McDonald Hospital in Warsaw.
Pat graduated from Leesburg High School in 1954. She then attended Ball State University for one year and graduated from Parkview Methodist School of Nursing in 1958. Pat married her high school sweetheart, Norman Hagg, on Aug. 3, 1958. They were married for almost 60 years, until his passing in 2018.
She worked as a registered nurse at several local doctors’ offices, completing her career with over 20 years of patient care at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
Pat was a lifetime member of Dutchtown Brethren Church in Warsaw, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, deaconess and church secretary for many years. She also volunteered at blood drives for the American Red Cross and with the Kosciusko County Historical Society.
She is survived by three children, Beth (Neil) Walker, Westland, Mich., Mike (Rhonda) Hagg, Silver Lake, and Brad (Aimee) Hagg, Warsaw. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, Karissa (Terry) Blackford, Karlye (Aaron) Johnson, Thomas (Erinn) Meredith, Valerie (Jeremey) Hackworth, Jon Hagg, Miriam Hagg and McKale Hagg, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Mylee, Carson, Parker, Hunter, Tucker, Sophia, Milo and Avery. She is also survived by her sister, Karen (Mike) Kingery, Fort Myers, Fla.; and her faithful sisters-in-law, Rosalie (David) Nye and Martha Tusing-Mayer, both of Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Gary and Lee Tusing.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Pat’s life will be celebrated with a service at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Jack Worth. A graveside service will follow at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg.
