The Lighthouse has announced their annual Cans for Coneys event in partnership with Skyline Chili.

FORT WAYNE — The Lighthouse has announced their annual Cans for Coneys event in partnership with Skyline Chili. Through the month of February, bring a donation of canned goods and/or non-perishable food items to Skyline Chili during regular business hours to receive a free Skyline Cheese Coney.

Skyline Chili is located at 4021 Ice Way, Fort Wayne. Business hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m Sunday through Saturday.

The Lighthouse Food Bank is located at 3000 East State Blvd., Fort Wayne. Business hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Olivia Keim, Community Care Manager at The Lighthouse stated, “Food insecurity is growing in our community; last year we served over 900 families through our community Food Bank! We need your help restocking our shelves! By donating to The Lighthouse Food Bank, you can be sure that we are changing lives, impacting families, and strengthening our community.”

The Lighthouse is a faith-based program providing a safe place for those in our community who struggle with life and life’s problems.
