Kathy Groninger Announces County Council-At-Large Candidacy
News Release
WARSAW — Kathy Groninger has announced her candidacy for Kosciusko County Council-At-Large.
Groninger is an attorney, wife, mother and small business owner. She is married to Cary Groninger and they have three adult children.
As a Republican incumbent, Groninger is seeking her second term on the Kosciusko County Council.
She states, “I am encouraged with the progress that the county has made these last few years. Some of the things that we have accomplished are as follows: New public safety towers and an upgraded radio communications system for first responders; an opioid settlement grant that is being used to expand mental health services in the jail and assisting Fellowship Missions.
“Additionally, we have expanded our county internet connectivity through partnerships with local providers and the use of ARPA funds.”
Groninger is excited about the future of Kosciusko County. Some projects of interest are a long term strategic financial plan for the county, implementing a new health initiative with the county health department through funding from the state of Indiana and continuing with the expansion of internet services through collaborating with local providers and the use of federal dollars.
“It’s been a blessing to serve the constituents of Kosciusko County and if reelected, I will work to keep our tax rates low while leveraging grant opportunities to prepare Kosciusko County for the future,” she stated.
