LEESBURG — At approximately 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, first responders from Plain Township Fire and EMS were called to a single vehicle accident in the 4500 block of State Road 15, between Leesburg and Warsaw.

Upon arrival, they discovered that a southbound maroon Ford Edge had left the roadway, narrowly missing a telephone pole. The vehicle proceeded through a white picket fence on private property, eventually colliding with the north wall of the brick house.

It was unclear how many occupants were inside the vehicle. A Plain Township EMS ambulance was on scene to render medical assistance.

Also responding to the scene were Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Warsaw Police Department.
